What an amazing day! We had fabulous weather, two great locations AND, the best bride and groom ever! Cara and Peter started their wedding celebration meeting in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon. Then, because the bride and groom are both Prosecutors (she works for the State and he the Fed), we headed over to the Mitchell Courthouse by trolley with the entire wedding party. What an amazing venue and what fun – we had the bridal party in the Juror’s box and Peter and Cara both had a chance at cross examination. From there we headed back to the always beautiful Mount Vernon for a few more group photos and then into the Peaobody for ceremony and fabulous catering by Chefs Expressions and gorgeous flowers by Flowers & Fancies. and the bride herself!!! With just a bit rain, some couds and a bit of sun, we had just enough working for us to create some great shots with Sarah and Tim in NYC. Both are Baltimore natives, now living in Brooklyn, I wanted to create some romantic images with iconic NYC backgrounds. We started in Central Park at the Bethesda Foutain… where it was NYC on a Sunday as usual – i.e. lots of crowds! Then we found a secluded spot ont he mall with the beautiful old Elm trees hanging overhead. And then we headed up to 42nd and Lexington to take a few shots in the street in front of Grand Central. Both Tim and Sarah would super great sports willing to stand in traffic so I could get the shots with traffic.Sarah Schlotterbach and Tim Perl, getting married next June at the Peabody Library

What a gorgeous wedding…. Jaclyn and Patrick were married at the Chapel on Loyola University Campus, September 22nd. Everything throughout the day had special meaning to the couple….the bride wore her mother’s wedding gown (which was gorgeous!!!), she and the bridesmaids made the bouquets and boutenniers and friends brought their own special gift – desserts, including the cake, for the bride and groom. It was one of the sweetest weddings with family and friends playing an integral part of the day. Fabulous food by the Classic Catering People; Amazing music from Mood Swings; all in the incredible B&O Railroad Museum. Photography by Anne Sachs & Tatjana Plitt.
On June 15th I got to photograph one of my absolute favorite clients this year – Maggie Santry and John Morton. Every detail was impeccable from the dress, to the flowers to the band! A big thanks to Jessica White of BCC and Mary Gamberdella for an amazing job of keeping everything flowing beautifully. Photographed by Anne Sachs & Sarah Hart Sachs

June 2nd, we had the opportunity to work for the first time at the Milton Ridge outside of Frederick, Maryland. The church and venue were absolutely adorable, but the best part was a spot found by the groom to photograph the bridal party and just Laura and Michael. The location is Best Farm, which is an old farmstead that is part of the Monacacy Battlefield. The site’s old stone barn made for an absolutely perfect backdrop. Photography by Anne Sachs
What an amazing weekend! With three photo sessions scheduled in Central Park and Grand Central Terminal, it was a fantatic photo session with Melissa and Phil in NYC’s Central Park and Grand Central Terminal.
