Sunset Wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

While many people think of summer as the perfect time to get married on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, in my opinion, Fall is the time of year, when the landscape and light are at their best.   The beautiful foliage, crystal blue skies, luminous light and striking sunsets make this one of my favorite places to photograph during Fall. Erin and Brian, who reside in Pittsburgh, were married on one of these gorgeous days at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.   The bride and her seven bridesmaids arrived in a bright red Trolley along with parents, Krista and David.  After having a celebratory champagne toast and getting into the dress, Erin was ready for the exciting moment when Brian would see her in her amazing dress for the first time.  It was a gorgeous setting for the first see – Erin looked stunning and Brian handsome.

The ceremony was held just outside the Beach House overlooking the Chesapeake Bay with the most gorgeous sunset.   Wicked Willow designed beautiful white pomander balls hanging from navy ribbons and interspersed with candle lit lanterns along the ceremony aisle.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in the adjacent Tavern Bayside, followed by a seated dinner in the Beach House.   After dinner, guests moved back to the Tavern Bayside, where sliding doors were opened to introduce Erin and Brian for the first dance – which kicked off a non-stop night of dancing to the sounds of Onyx.

Congratulations!  Erin and Brian.    Photography by Anne Sachs
