Emily & Jeff’s big day around the Baltimore Harbor.
In Baltimore, we are lucky to have a treasure such as the Inner Harbor. In many ways it’s where the beauty of nature meets the luxuries of modernity. Emily and Jeff took full advantage of everything the harbor has to offer while creating a unique wedding inspired by their favorite rustic yet elegant Maine vacation inn.
Their day began getting ready at the Four Seasons in Harbor East, always a favorite place for intimate portraits of the bride and groom.
They met their wedding party just above their venue, on Federal Hill which overlooks the entire Harbor. Autumn can be quite often rainy in Baltimore but this day was perfectly clear, sunny and blues skies, a perfect host for the family and bridal party pics.
Just down the hill greenery and flowers dangled from trestles, the rooms were decorated in an abstract recreation of the couple’s favorite northeastern get away. The American Visionary Art Museum, the host of the ceremony, is a gallery of quirky American Folk Art.
Beginning the day at the Four Seasons and ending it at the AVAM, at an event catered by Linwoods embodies the breadth and personality of Baltimore, from its luxuries, its food, its nature and its art.
