Kate + Laura Celebrate at the Baltimore Museum of Industry
Venue: Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI)
Catering: Rouge Catering
Cake: La Cakerie
It’s with this gratitude that Laura and Kate chose Artful Weddings to photograph their very special day. The gorgeous fall day was a beautiful backdrop to the the love Kate and Laura have for each other. Kate and Laura took full advantage of the best Baltimore has to offer, its waterfront. And the Baltimore Museum of Industry is another fine choice among several harbor side venues to celebrate this special day.
The BMI is a photogenic and quirky museum in Baltimore’s Federal Hill neighborhood across the water from the iconic Domino Sugar Plant. Its topic, aesthetics and location represent the essence, the foundation of Baltimore. The mise èn scene complemented the artistic nature of Kate and Laura and lent itself to the photography of the day.
Inside the choices were made well, Rouge Catering did an amazing job, their food and style is always at the top of their game. The museum’s table top design and the cake from La Cakerie were well in sync creating things vintage, things artistic, things Baltimore.
Someone suggested your own house but, with 150 gustes, I do not think it is possible unless you live in a huge mansion. Look at community centers, colleges, church basements, etc. for cheap options.
