Leslie and Mike’s Elkridge Furnace Inn Autumn Outdoor Wedding

Leslie and Mike were married at Elkridge Furnace Inn on a gorgeous fall day in September. It was really important to the two of them that their wedding celebration be very family oriented. Family members drew the save the dates and the wedding program, helped decorate, and even made the two wedding cakes, one for Leslie and Mike, the other for Leslie’s parents who were celebrating their 41st anniversary. Leslie and Mike made the table numbers and place cards which were made to look like Tibetan prayer flags. The gorgeous rustic fall flowers were done by close family friends, Radebaugh Florists.

Round Midnight” provided the music.  Leslie and Mike danced to “Our House” by Crosby Stills Nash and young, and the band played a great rendition of it.  Mike and his mother danced to “Love Me Like a Rock” by Paul Simon.  Leslie and her father sang a song together instead of dancing and her mother accompanied them on the band’s keyboard.

“One of my favorite memories is when someone started the dance line, seeing my 89 and 87 year old grandmothers dance right down the line with everyone else.  At one point I stopped to look around and it looked like every one of the 125 guests present was on the dance floor.  It was really important to us that everyone have a blast and I think they did!”

"As a photographer I thrive on capturing the moments. I want to know that, years from now, every couple I work with will have the perfect images to tell the story of their wedding day.”
