It’s often said that soul mates are fated to be together.  When Ryan’s cousin, Samantha, set him up with Dena, fate showed its hand in Dena’s fortune cookie. “Your love life will bring you great happiness.”  The two have always shared a deep passion for sports (particularly the Ravens and the Orioles) and for traveling, whether it be a day trip or a weekend get away.  In January of 2015 Ryan proposed with a note in the mailbox leading Dena to her beautiful ring.

Dena and Ryan had the most beautiful of spring days for their wedding at the Elkridge Furnace Inn.  While the outdoor festivities were cut short by an unexpected rainfall there was more than enough room inside to accommodate all of their family and friends.  The beautiful peacock theme of the wedding reflected in the men’s pocket squares, the ladies bouquets, and the center floral arrangements.

Internet dating does not always fail.  In the case of Megan and Dave it was the start of what would blossom into a beautiful relationship.  Meeting in Old Town after Megan’s graduate classes in DC, the couple grew closer.  Dave finally asked Megan to marry him and the rest is history.

Megan and Dave decided to have their first look at the Sherwood Gardens in Baltimore.  Both remarked how truly special this moment was for them, giving them a private moment, where in Megan’s words, “The world stopped for just a second.”  They celebrated their wedding at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House on a stunning spring afternoon and danced the night away beneath beautiful twinkling lights.

Nearing the end of their time at Loyola University, Connor and Jessica were introduced by mutual friends.  Not missing the opportunity, Connor asked Jessica the color of her dress for the up coming senior gala and matched his suit and tie accordingly.  As time passed and the two grew closer it was time for Connor to pop the question.  On a cold day in January of 2015, with Jessica’s parents in town, he seized the opportunity.  Doing so while the couple were on a walk with their dog, Duck, in the park in Canton.  Overjoyed Jessica said “yes” and was able to celebrate the special occasion with her parents.

Jessica and Connor’s Loyola University Chapel wedding happened on a beautiful day this Spring.  With friends and family in abundance they tied the knot and took the wedding celebration to Pazo in downtown Baltimore’s, Harbor East.  With stunning flowers, delicious food (including a dark chocolate drizzled vanilla cake with golden glitter) and a beautiful couple the night was one for the books.

Laura and Chris met first in Chicago in 2002 while both attended college at Northwestern University where they became close friends.  After graduating Chris moved Baltimore and they lost touch.  Fate intervened when, in 2010, they reconnected on the streets of Annapolis and the relationship begin to bud.  After a brief time Laura moved to Baltimore to be with Chris.

On a cold day in January (having just missed the snow storm) Laura and Chris gathered with all those they are close with to celebrate.  Their ceremony and reception took place in the stunning George Peabody Library in down town Baltimore.  The beautiful classic ceremony was accented with pops of beautiful purple to pay homage to their Alma Mater.  The night finished with an amazing champagne saber toast.

In true Baltimore fashion, Ali and Ryan’s relationship found its roots in 2011 in a Federal Hill Bar, with the Ravens defeating the Steelers.  Before the end of the season Ryan had moved for work to Austin, Texas.  Ali followed him there continuing her work with Under Armour.  In October of 2013, Ryan proposed to Ali on a beach in the British Virgin Islands.

Ali and Ryan chose a December wedding to make the most of the most festive time of year.  They started the weekend with a welcome party at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, catered by Classic Catering and continued the celebration at the Marriott Waterfront.  The girls gathered at Ali’s parents’ home, while the boys prepped at the Four Seasons Baltimore.  The day was full of laughter and very emotional.  Everyone was so excited, full of energy, love and support.  It was an amazing day for these two families to come together. With a wedding party of 28 and over 300 guests it was a truly beautiful sight at the Walters Art Museum wittnessing these two become one.
